A running store in Poznań moved off a homegrown engine onto PrestaShop 9: a custom theme, stock fed straight from Subiekt GT and a full English version.

Challenge
The old shop could only be run through a XAMPP program the owner described as painfully slow, and stock levels were reconciled by hand. Running shoes are a size-matrix product: 728 of the 894 combinations sit at a single pair, so one wrong number sells a shoe that is already gone. On top of that came the customers of the old shop, who could not be asked to create their accounts from scratch.
Approach
We built the shop from the ground up on PrestaShop 9 with a custom theme: over 450 products and 894 size combinations migrated together with their factory SKUs, a shoe-finder quiz, a Polish and English interface (155 strings) and a 41-page manual. Stock arrives from Subiekt GT every 15 minutes through our agent on the client's own computer - one way, and as a delta only, so a sync never rolls back an online sale. Customers of the old shop get in through a password bridge: the old password works once and is quietly rewritten to bcrypt.
Outcome
The shop went live on its target domain with PayU payments and a certificate covering apex and www. After a move to faster hosting the home page loads in 0.29 s instead of several seconds, and stock is still managed where it always was - in Subiekt.
